In 1987 the hat designer Elvis POMPILIO opens a show room (for clients seen by appointment), in Brussels and very quickly his business grows with boutiques opening, one after the other, in Brussels, Antwerp, Paris and London. At the same time he expand his business through the major Department Stores in America (Bergdorf, Saks, Bendel ...), the best Boutiques in Europe and a network of points of sale in japan ...

He successfully styles the heads of celebrities from all over the planet : Madonna, Amelie Nothomb, Blondie, Lio, Harrison Ford, Axelle Red, Mickey Rourke, Arielle Dombasle are regular clients, as well as members of the royal families of Great Britain, Norway, The Netherlands, Sweden and Belgium. Appointed Officier de L'Ordre de Léopold II, he can also be found alongside Amelie Nothomb at the Grevin Museum and he works with Chanel, Mugler, Feraud, Céline, Bikkembergs, Anteprima... on their Haute Couture and ready-to-wear collections.

In 2012 he decides to give himself a break and he reduces his commitments to work with designers such as Véronique Leroy, Ann Demeulemeester and Véronique Branquinho who are also friends. Restored to full strength he opens a Boutique-workshop in Brussels in 2010 (wich relaunches the styles he is known for : Knitted hats, Adaptable Hats) and many one-off creations. In 2012 he opens a Pop Up store in Paris in Maria Luisa's boutique in the Printemps department store together with a Wedding collection in the same surroundings.

2013 will see him pursuing this path, working especially with Anne Demeulemeester, Véronique Branquinho and Axelle Red.
